I typically read mystery/thriller novels, but I found myself lost in this book like I would a mystery/thriller. I enjoyed that the story is being told from past and present, it gives a better sense of the events and characters. I also really enjoyed the little insights into other famous authors and how they have shaped the main character. I was hooked by the writing style and how fast-paced the story seemed to be. I will be adding this to my reading list!
