As a Texan I always gravitate towards fellow Texan authors so when I saw this author was from Texas I was super excited. However, as a bi woman I'm honestly just overrun with gay/bi novels. Theyre so common now I'm burned out. It's like every novel has to have their token gay character when it adds nothing to the plot or story. Albeit this is just a sneak peak and maybe the main characters sexuality plays a major role in how the story ends but at this point I'm just exhausted from it. If you really like LGBT characters placed randomly in books and alleged assault where everyone in the story has to convince the main character her memories were wrong and she was actually abused, you'll probably dig this! So definitely give it a try.
