After finishing the First Look of Like Happiness by Ursula Villarreal-Moura, I knew that I found a new author to watch. The excerpt felt lyrical, and yet, sparsely written. I am always impressed when in a few words so much emotion is evoked. I have a feeling that this novel will turn out to be an intense read, possibly too intense for me, but one that is thought-provoking and will stay with the reader long after the last page is finished. I look forward to finding out.
