Life Lessons from Hip-Hop.... now, who would have thought that a life lesson from hip-hop would be something that you would need in your day-to-day. Even from the introduction alone, I had a feeling that there would be snippets and anecdotes and thought quotes that I would 1) desire to jot down for future reference on a cloudy (or maybe sunny, too!) day and 2) immediately recall even before I turned into a new day. This book is human - it breathes the lives of its contributors but it also breathes life into its readers - and it is one that you wouldn't want to put down, whether you are a profound lover of the hip-hop genre and its artists or not. While I cannot say that I generally gravitate towards either genre or artist(s), I did find several anecdotes worth 1) sharing, 2) remembering and 3) giving reason to share this read with others fellow readers.
