I believed this to be a book that Young Adults would enjoy. The life lessons contain some thoughts that would be useful to them. Coming from different backgrounds, each artist has a somewhat different perspective and therefore there are differences in the messages that they share, but those differences would also appeal to a larger audience. .
Many older adults would appreciate this too and enjoy reading about the hip-hop artists within the pages. The interviews of each person are well done and really add a more realistic look and more depth to each of them.
The images within are also a welcome addition. Many people look up to those in the entertainment industry and they would love to see pictures of the people they idolize.
I recommend this book to anyone who would love to read some in-depth coverage of the Hip-Hop artists covered in this book.
