This looks like a fast read with plenty to think about later. I am not a member of the hip-hop generation. I grew up listening to the Beatles and the rest of the British Invasion. But I liked hip-hop when it started. It felt like happy music to me. I dropped it when gangsta rap was all over the radio. I couldn't stand that. I'm getting to appreciate rap, mostly because it rhymes and currently, poetry doesn't. I need my rhymes.
