Thanks to the author for a copy to read and review and give my honest opinion. I received an ARC paper copy but the blurb is what caught my eye.

Very few things surprise me these days but this books ending surprised me. What we have are two stories going on, first story is about a Elyse getting the part in a school play of Romeo and Juliet. The second story is about a couple, Sasha and Gabe. Elyse is a shy girl, and her mother is an addict hooked on Oxy. Her days are filled with school, and work ...since her mother can't hold a job long enough to pay bills. We also see the relationship between Sasha and Gabe, albeit unhealthy from the start. Once Gabe realizes he relationship has tumbled into drama, he seeks to see another girl...Catherine. Sasha doesn't want to let him go, hence the drama unfolds. Two seemingly separate stories crash in the finale.

These two stories have nothing to do with each other and yet the ending was so surprising that I didn't even see it coming. Five stars to a master writer, as the real truth comes out in the end. The title is worth its weight in gold. Lies you never told me is a book you won't want to miss.
