"Lies You Never Told Me" starts as a typical Young Adult novel, telling the parallel stories of two teenagers, Elyse and Gabe, with their own unique teenager life drama, and living several miles apart from each other. The beginning of the book is so cute and calm that makes you wonder where the promised thriller and suspense is, since nothing particularly relevant happens. But then, by the time you reach page 50, things do get… tense. The whole time I kept wondering if those two stories would connect at some point, and how they could possibly be related to each other. What happens from then on is completely unexpected and surprising. This is a great YA thriller, full of unexpected twists, and one you won't be able to put down!
