Lies You Never Told Me, by Jennifer Donaldson, had me up reading late into the night. I could not put it down. This book is a roller coaster of a page-turner with many ups and downs. Chapters alternate perspective between Gabe and Elyse, the two main characters. I like this in a book because the perspective never gets stale. Chapters are short and most end with some sort of cliffhanger that makes you want to keep reading. The characters can at times be frustrating in their decision-making, but they are teenagers and teenagers can be frustrating. I found myself falling in love with each of the characters, even Sasha who is truly troubled. Each is beautiful and flawed in their own way.
