I can't wait to read the rest of this book!
This book is so many things. It is a book about Romeo and Juliet the play. It is a book about romance and dealing with fellow classmates. The main characters are relatable. The plot is wonderful and very interesting. I think it will catch a lot of teens attention. Gabe is an interesting guy - I love the fact that he is a minority. I also love that he is a skateboarder.
Elyse is a smart you lady. She is interested in theater but only things she should have a minor part in Romeo and Juliet. She auditions for the part of the nurse, but the new drama teacher sees something in her that she did not see in herself. He gives her the part of Juliet in the play. This is wonderful because she sounds like she will be a wonderful actress.
