Lies You Never Told Me was a great twisty tale that hooks you from the first page. The book follows two storylines, Gabe and Elyse, each who have their own secrets and problems. Gabe lives in Austin and is dating the girl of his dreams - or so he thought. Gabe soon comes to realize that Sasha isn't really the nicest person and decides to break up, but she won't let go that easily. Elyse and her best friend Brynn are trying out for Romeo and Juliet in their Portland high school drama production. Elyse is trying out for the role of the nurse but ends up with the lead and catches the eye of her teacher. With a mother that has an addiction problem, Elyse blooms in all of the extra attention, even if some is not the kind she needs.
I really enjoyed this book and couldn't stop turning the pages to find out what happened next. The writing style is pretty easy to get through and I ended up guessing the twist at the end, but was still a worthwhile read. Definitely will check out more from this author.
