My high schooler read this first in two days, and kept bugging me about when I was going to get to it, and without reading the blurb, was already talking about the ending that was unbelievable. I have to agree with him. This book grabs you from page 1. People say that a lot, but truly this book has the high emotion of YA and begins with a steamy scene interrupted by parent, so it is truly full of action and emotional turmoil from the beginning. It's a great beach read and I expect it will be very popular with teens, but adults will not be disappointed either. This author does a great job of creating a very diverse set of characters, and doesn't make them into teen stereotypes. There is someone relatable for most readers here.
