The sample was very exciting--it had that vein of emotional manipulation in it that makes me so excited to read it. I am a little hesitant about Gabe's story just because it may be suggesting that idea of "only good girls are allowed to be nice--everyone else is an emotionally manipulative bitch" which makes me hesitant because this isn't true. And I love how Elyse might have something going on with her teacher, which I can't wait to read more about.
I think the cover is a little simplistic and could use a little more to tell us what the book is actually about, but I can't wait to read more because this is really intriguing so far!
