Okay, I'm hooked. I want to know what happens with Gabe and Elyse. I want to know if their worlds ever collide. Even if they don't, I think it will be a good story with lots of tension and some big dramatic climaxes toward the end. Each story has some good stand alone plot lines that I am curious to see resolved. I am curious as to why the author chose to write her book with these alternating points of view. I also love the settings of Austin and Portland. I don't have a strong opinion about the cover. It doesn't really further the intrigue. It looks dramatic, but in a rather generic way. I don't know if it would cause me to pick up the book.
