Right away, I know I need to finish the rest of this book. I can already see where it might be heading, but I always love a good twist (and to be proven wrong.)

I really enjoyed the dual perspectives of our two main characters, Elyse and Gabe. I can't wait to find out how their different stories converge later on in the book. They're generally likable, but Gabe's girlfriend Sasha is a real piece of work. I can't tell if she's just manipulative or there's something more sinister going on. I hope we learn more about her and what makes her so controlling later on in the book (a possible dark backstory?)

The cover is a good fit with the tone of the book. Ominous smoke on a dark background really makes the bright yellow text stand out, and it would definitely catch my eye on a shelf.

Based on the title and synopsis, I predict lies will be uncovered, consequences will be had, and someone won't make it out alive. Sounds like a party to me!
