I feel like this is a very stereotypical looking cover that does not appeal to me. Oh no, another smokey background! Shadows, oh my! I also think the description is kind of vague. The sentence that peaked my interest was the one about them falling for the wrong people, so that would be the plot point that draws me in as a reader. The sample had nice details and got me interested.
