The Legacies is a page-turning young adult novel about money, secrets, drama, deceit, revenge, and death. The story is written through the point of view of 3 high schoolers - Bernie, Isobel, and Tori. As the story develops, we learn about the point of views of each of the girls and their thoughts and feelings about their relationships with friends and family. It is so interesting to see the interplay between wealthy high schoolers who are privileged due to their parents' status with a middle class girl who is struggling to find her place among them. Everything about this book is excellent - the writing style, the plot, the characters, and the ending. I will definitely be recommending this book to all of my friends and family members. If you are looking for a suspenseful thriller that you wont be able to put down, do yourself a favor and read this book!
