The first sentence of this book is intriguing and hooks you in immediately. It gives off that air of mystery that is described in the synopsis. However, once you get past the prologue, the first couple of paragraphs don't immediately keep your interest as they aren't that interesting. I am excited for this book though, and will likely read it.
