It's hard to know what to say about such a short teaser, but here goes.
The pace of the excerpt went from slow, don't scare the new guy slow to all hell breaking loose! WOW! It's clear this won't be a boring book. I wonder if Lucas will ever be rehabilitated enough to make others understand what happened? Even from the teaser, it's clear he's under a bit of stress and wanting the heck out of the facility.
He's described so well that I can picture the blue of his eyes, I can see the cords of muscle on his arms and the speed that he would have to move with. He's a trapped, gorgeous animal that only wants to go back to what he understands, wherever that is.
I cannot wait to read this book if the rest of it is as riveting as the excerpt!
