In this book, you will enter the world of Maya, a speech therapist that works with psychiatric patients. But one particular patient, Lucas, will spark her curiosity and make her remember things from the past. You will read about adventures in the Boundary Waters, you will learn a little about rocks and minerals, and little by little you will get to know more about Maya’s past and how she arrived where she is right now. I love stories that unfold little by little, in a way that you always want to know what comes next. The book didn’t get me hooked on the beginning - that's why I ended up taking off one star -, but as soon as the action began, I couldn’t put it down. This is not a book that I would have normally picked up, but I'm glad I did.
