Leave No Trace draws you right into the story and makes you want to know more. The writing styles gives the reader a feeling of being right in the room with the characters. The location of the story, Psychiatric Ward, is in itself an unnerving location. You are intrigued with Lucas, his obscure history and how he came to be in his situation. The first part is in Maya's POV which provides insight into her character and history. There is an underlining connection between the characters and I'm intrigued as to how it will develop throughout the story. Both characters descriptions give the impression of strength and determination in their differing goals. I anticipate it will make for an interesting dynamic as the story progresses.
