Leave no trace focus on Maya Stark and Lucas Blackthorn. Lucas and his father walked into the Boundary Waters ten years ago and one day, Lucas is found practicing robbery - plus he is violent and incommunicable. Thus, he is sent to a local psychiatric hospital for observation and he encounters Maya - the young assistant speech therapist - who is responsible for talking to him and help him out.
The plot is quite suspenseful since you are trying to find out what happened to Lucas throughout this ten years in the wilderness and at the same time, Maya has her past and some secrets. The first 1/3 part is slow paced, however, as long as you get involved there are plenty of twists and the book is an easy read. Although there are some unrealistic facts, the plot overall is intriguing, Also, I found the setting very interesting and well exploited.
