I'm fairly new to this author but I love her writing style, and how she just keeps you engaged the entire time. I was so sad when I came to the end of this sample because I wanted to continue and find out what happens. The way she breathes life into her characters is amazing. I'm looking forward to reading more about Maya's life and how she overcame her obstacles to get where she is now in her life, and I also want to know more about Lucus and how he lost ten whole years of his life and turned out the way he is now. My mind is so full of questions and preconceived notions about how this book will turn out it makes absolutely no sense, and the more I think about the atmosphere that was set up with these characters and how their situations will bring them closer together the more excited I get to want to read this. I think I may have found a new favorite author
