This is a new author to me, although I chose her book because she will be coming to the Iowa City Book Festival & I would love to meet her. I really enjoy this style of writing. She had me hooked from the very start. Who doesn't want to start at a job and work their way up to "be somebody" who is respected. Getting to work with the most notorious patient as the "new doctor". Gonna be some ups & downs & scary moments, but she is definitely not going to let anyone see that. Until it's too late and she is out cold on the floor of his room! She will not let him get out of the facility on her watch though and sneaks after him with the baton from the guard who is also out cold on the floor! "A LITTLE HELP HERE!"
