I’m a Canadian girl living in North Dakota. When I discover a (somewhat) local author, I make a point of reading their work. Mindy Mejia resides in Minnesota and her latest novel, Leave No Trace was on my radar for months. I was very happy to finally get the chance to read it. This is a great thriller revolving around a tragedy that occurred during a family camping trip in the Minnesota Boundary Waters. This suspenseful story certainly kept me turning the pages, but I just have one small complaint. I really wish that more of the story took place in the actual wilderness instead of the psychiatric facility. I was left wanting more from that location. A lot more. Other than that, the story is fantastic and I recommend you read it! I give it four stars!
