Leave No Trace is a wonderfully mysterious, and semi-romantic, tale of what happened to Lucas and his father all those years ago. The story starts hard with Lucas attacking our main character in attempt to reach him during his first few days in the pysch facility. From there we have a slow build and development of the plot and characters involved. Why did they disappear off the grid. I was never expecting what was revealed next and was so very satisfied with the ending of this book. Being that I typically like fantasy, I was really rooting for Mya's father to have more of a prominent role and potentially find the ship he'd been searching for so long. I will be looking for other works done by Mindy Mejia.
