I was excited to receive this book and started reading as soon as it came in the mail! The story line was intriguing and I couldn't wait to see what mysteries would be revealed - why did they disappear into the Boundary Waters, why is Maya so damaged by her past, and will they find Josiah Blackthorne alive?
I did have some misgivings about Maya's involvement with Lucas, as she seemed to take to him right away and trust him way too much. I don't think I would have invited him into my house without knowing more about him. The sexual tension was more than palpable between the two of them and things might have ended up differently because of it.
Some of the story was a little unbelievable, and I was really surprised by what they found in the Boundary Waters.
