Maya Stark, a speech therapist at a hospital, is present with a news sensation, Lucas, is brought in to the psychiatric ward. Maya gets called in to help the famous patient as they're unsure if he is responsive to what they are saying. The orderly who allowed her entrance into the locked ward doubted she would get through to him. Only a kitchen assistant had had any success getting through to him.
