I definitely want to read more. I’m so curious as to what led this young man to be borderline feral, and how his dynamic with the speech therapist will evolve or perhaps even become worse following the attack. I’m also interested in the therapist, normally the stereotype is for that character to be all-buttoned up, and here she has purple hair, she was suspended from school, she’s a bit of a rebel. I like the foggy forest imagery on the cover, it’s an ominous feel that suits the story.
