The excerpt starts off with a bang and doesn't let up on the throttle. Characters, setting, circumstances are all laid out quickly but with enough detail to make it to pulse-pounding. From the get-go, I know I will like the protagonist. She's quirky yet quite gutsy. I would like to read the book in its entirety.
