I love the writing in this already. I also love that it is completely modern because one thing I dislike in mysteries (especially disappearances/reappearances) is when they don't include social media and they act like the news delivered is from the early 00s. I'm intrigued because I want to know a few things: Is his father still alive? Does he want to find his father? Will this turn out with a romance (I'm sure it will, and I'm sure she will push to find his dad even if he doesn't)? So many questions that need so many answers and I need them!!!
