The author has a way with words that brings the reader immediately into the story. My initial first impression was to learn more about the boy and the therapist and see where their relationship ends up. I found the characters portrayed were interesting and the dialogue was easy to follow and drew me in.
The cover caught my eye immediately and led me to an interest in what was behind the cover.
