I know he wanted to escape but why wait until Maya was in the room to try? Was it because she was a female. What secrets does Maya have? This first look already had me on the edge of my sweat. When I realized I was at the end & would not be able to read further I gasped because I really need to know what happens next. If I am not fortunate enough to win a copy of this book I will definitely be buying it because I am already invested in these characters and need to know where the story goes.
