Well.... for one.... I already LOVE the character Maya Stark because that last name
" Stark" is used in Game of Thrones for one of the ruling families. I'm sure I'm not the only one who fails to connect with a character because I don't care for their name or simply don't know how to pronounce it ! Most of the time I won't even buy a book if I don't like the main character's name! Just as some readers judge a book by their covers, I'm not ashamed to admit that I judge a book by its characters! That being said about Maya I already want to know the big twist of her secrets from the past! It seems that she is a character that is lacking self confidence in the beginning when she realizes that SHE is the one marking up patient files, and SHE has finally gotten where she was going in life! Can't wait to grow with her as a professional in his book. I'm also left wondering what could have possibly happened to this son & father for him to look like he was ravaged by a bear! Sounds like a page turner and these types of books are my jam! I'd be honored to read & review!
