The first look was quick, but it certainly hits the ground running. Maya Stark, a 23-year-old, newly minted therapist is assigned to work with a new inmate at the Congdon Psychiatric Facility. It turns out that her patient is a boy who had disappeared into the Duluth woods years before and had suddenly returned. Her first visit with the boy is not what she expected. After being choked nearly to death, she awakens realizing that the orderly has also been injured and the patient is on the run. She tracks him down before he leaves the hospital, but we are left with both the therapist and the patient needing medical assistance by the end of the encounter. Where has the boy been these past many years? Can Maya develop a relationship with him? These and many more questions await.
