The excerpt doesn't give much to critique. It just sets the foundations by defining the process of "learning." Sounds like it's going to go the way of Gladwell's Outliers -- the more you practice, the better you get. But I'm highly skeptical of what the author implies in the introduction: that ANYONE can master ANYTHING if they just work hard enough. No, your brain doesn't keep growing and your neurons don't keep myelinating until you can create like Michelangelo. I would not buy this book based on what I've seen, but I am curious to see how realistic the book actually is.
