First off lets start with the positives. From what I've read so far the book seems well researched, Nick is clear and concise in his ideas, and all material presented was clear and transparent. However, those points aside my biggest issue with this book (and with self help in general) is the unanswered question of what makes Nick the authority on Mastering anything. In trying to research him all I came across was this book. So what else has he mastered? Where is his authority coming from? I just don't trust the promise of being able to master anything by follow the advice in the book when the person presenting it to me doesn't seem to have followed his own advice. Just loving to learn does not translate to a mastery of anything. So, this is a big pass for me.
