After reading the summary, I quickly realized that this book was nothing like I expected, in the best way possible. It had me at "Knives out with a queer historical twist." It did, however, lose me a bit at "running a soap empire is a dirty business" because it was almost TOO corny. The cover is a bit lackluster, but is eye catching enough.
