I'm interested just by the mention of a family empire built on Soap making. The title first brings to mind a purple house but then reading into it I'm surprised to learn the name Lavender, that it could also be a scent and not just the color. Of course I'm sure it could mean something else also! The premise intrigues me. I'm interested to read further and find out exactly what the mystery is and what the title actually references. The cover is gorgeous too!
