The cover didn't capture my attention (and I don't understand the rabbits), and neither did the summary or sample. The story is first person POV, and that's not my preference in stories, as few authors seem to do it well. The narrator didn't intrigue me. The sample was full of a lot of drinking and cursing, and if there's that much in the sample, I don't need to read an entire book of it. Too much negativity in the world to begin with, so I look for a bit more positivity in the books I read.
