Full transparency: I have been waiting for this book since the MOMENT it was announced. The pitch intrigued me, but the cover sold me.
The first look? I have a MIGHTY NEED.
I had absolutely no doubts that Rosen’s debut into suspense would be a hit; the way his characters are written, his focus on emotions, and the rich descriptions of settings in his previous novels set themselves perfectly into the world of mystery.
And yet I was STILL shocked at how quickly I was sucked into the narrator’s orbit with this preview. Such a strong start that has you relating to and rooting for the protagonist before you even hit page 6.
This novel is going to be phenomenal, you can already tell.
