For me all I needed to is a comparison to Knives Out and I would have wanted to read it. Reading the synopsis solidified that interest. The bit I read felt a bit like Carl Hiaasen which is not a positive for me but will be for others. I do want to see what happens next and since this is out of my comfort zone (fantasy) that high praise.
