Although this isn't a genre I'd normally read, I fell in love with the cover, and decided to give the excerpt a try. I'm glad I did, because it looks super promising! Already, it's atmospheric and bewitching. Although it's semi-unclear what the plot will be, the book looks to hold quite a lot of potential.
