Actually I was fairly sure after reading the first few chapters that I knew what this book was going to be about and where the plot would lead. I was definitely surprised by how attached I ended up getting to the main characters. There were lots of things I questioned the probability of but eventually I need not have been so skeptical. It turns out that all my pondering that the author could not possibly get the reader to follow and believe what was happening was just time wasted. The author did a great job allowing me to be drawn in slowly until I knew I had to keep reading every chance I could get. The book was a great read for me and I am going to be recommending it to my book club group at our next meeting.
