Wow! Living life in a small town where everyone knows your life story can be claustrophobic at times but also amazing. This book reminds me of my hometown and the people who make it up. Everyone is concerned about Rauri, where is he? Can spring truly be here if no one has seen Rauri? Living in a place where you may not see neighbors for the entire winter means watching for them in the spring. He may be dead but no one needs to speak of him as dead until they know for sure and no one else wants to volunteer to go check.
Sarah Stonich, you did an amazing job of bringing these characters to life. Anyone brought up in small town America will enjoy this book. There will be a few surprises along the way that everyone will gasp at. I recommend this book to all!
