First Vacationland Now This Beauty.. Lauretian Divide
A huge fan of Vacationland, the first book in the Northern Trilogy...I was excited to get my hands on Laurentian Divide. The magic that is in Vacationland is there in this book..if not much more. Such beauty in every page. With a rich atmospheric setting...well thought out characters...a story so unique...it's easy to see why there is such a large loyal following to these books.
Author Sarah Stonich gives us such an intriguing tale, interwoven human interactions, and a beautiful backdrop all wrapped in beauty and tragedy and every day lives. It's hard to explain this book completely. It must be read to be felt.
Small town life in Minnesota...simple living...intricate and yet everyday people...never was made so intriguing as this. It reads like a book from one of our many great classic writers of our time.
