I love the way the story and setting revolves around Rauri Paar. The preview shows us so much of what Rauri is like through the eyes of the other people who live in Hatchet Inlet, yet we as the reader never see Rauri directly. It shrouds the character in an air of mystery that would compel me to continue reading.
