I love books about rural, small towns and the daily life of its inhabitants. The synopsis of this book immediately grabbed my attention. From the first few pages, I could tell this is a little over written. Some of the descriptions were over the top and I had to read a few sentences over again because they were so convoluted. However, I am intrigued by the events happening so I do want to read more.
