I could not finish this book
In Last Call there is a serial killer who is targeting gay men. Through the telling of the investigation you learn about the history and culture of the LGBT community of the time and all they had to overcome and go through.
This was a good book, I just really wish I liked it more than I did. I could not finish it, I got halfway through it and decided it wasn't for me. I understood this to be a true crime but it was more like a history of the gay culture of the time. It wasn't bad it just wasn't for me. It also felt like he always gave too much information and sometimes it felt kind of out of order. He would go over how the victim was found, then how they were killed, their last few moments alive, and then he would go over their entire life. It feel out of order and a little confusing to me.I would recommend it to others but I don't think I will be going back to it.
