This book is multilayered and the community in New York during this time is fascinating. I have a hard time reading about murders and people being violent or hateful. It is so sad and horrible that this happened. The serial killer is someone who blends into the crowd. It is important that their story is told because they had made an impact on their community and no one deserves to be treated so horrible. Great book and interesting read.
